Started my summer internship at The Great Frame Up in West Des Moines, Iowa. It is a custom framing shop that strives on high-quality products without overlooking its customer service. A good way to learn framing techniques that will be benificial to me and my paintings down the road. Definitely looking forward to that experience.
At the end of my internship, I will have the opportunity to put on my own art show at the store. That’s an additional motivation to create a new piece and expand my collection that I will be putting on display.
I chose to work with ten 8″ x 10″ canvases that I arranged in a way that would create a story. In fact, I plan on creating a design that will be spread throughout each of the canvases. Can’t wait to get started.
