I am happy to say that I am officially ready for the Art International Zurich art show! Meaning that, besides follow-ups, I will work on a new piece. Better yet, a commissioned piece. I have been asked to produce on a small canvas using large shapes while incorporating lime green color elements. The size I have chosen is another 80 X 60 cm canvas. This is a standard format that I have already used on two other compositions. I enjoy this format and it’s a good size for smaller pieces.

Hi everyone, this is happening for real. My first official, large scale art show is coming up in September. I have been accepted to present the best pieces of my collection ‘Color Explosion’ at the 2017 Art International Zurich on September 22-24 at Pulse 5 in the buzzing Zurich West district.
My focus at the moment is to make sure that my pieces are pitch perfect for the show; putting a lot of effort into the details and on the finishing touches. I will also send invites to friends and family as well as art galleries in Switzerland and beyond. I hope to see as many of you as possible at the fair.

Just spent a good part of the winter 2016/17 working on this piece but I loved the way it turned out. Adding more triangular shapes to my style was definitely a good idea. I also like the depth of the painting, especially in the center of the two combined canvases. A bit like an agglomeration, the depth is accentuated by the triangles in the outskirt directing to the outside of the piece.

For this new piece, I want to continue the multiple canvas concept that I created before with previous pieces. This time I chose two 100 x 40 cm canvases and decided to experiment something new and work horizontally primarily with triangle shapes around center of gravity in the middle of the two canvases. I cannot wait to start experimenting with this new project and I’m sure the outcome will be astonishing.
